Pumpkin Carving Time

So this weekend we got together with some friends from college, who odly enough live 2 minutes from our house, but we never see each other. Tiffany and Jeff brought Isabelle over to carve pumpkins and share in some chili. This past week was full of crazy schedules at work, so Emma requested a movie night after church on Saturday. So, we ate our dinner in front of the Veggie Tales movie, in our jammies, on sleeping bags. This week is full of meetings at work, parent-teacher conferences, and the ever popular Trick-or-Treating on Friday!

Lucas really enjoyed tasting the pumpkins. "Hmm... this taste likes squash, I think that was my dinner last night! So this is what I'm eating."

We are so happy for all of our many friends who are having babies these days. They all look great and we are praying that God continues to bless you and your families.

Emma got to "help" Daddy carve her pumpkin.

What a great face!

Lucas really isn't so sure about this idea.

This idea totally STINKS, Mom!

Pumpkin Farm!

This Saturday was such a beautiful day, that we decided to pack up the kids and head out to the pumpking farm for the morning. We found this small, family run farm not too far from our house last year and decided to return.

Emma has an awesome time running around, finding her way through the maze, and even feeding the goats!

The day was great! We had such a wonderful time with the wonderful children that God has blessed us with. They amaze us everyday with what they are able to do and we feel truly blessed that God has trusted them with us.
Here's a few pictures from our great day!

Lucas wasn't so sure about where Dad had placed him.

Such happy kids!

Emma LOVED the hay "mountain."

So, here we go. I'm going to try to keep everyone updated in a new and improved way. Since all of our lives are so crazy, and after seeing so many of our friends' sites, I decided that this would be a great idea. So these days Emma is staying very busy with pre-school (3 year olds) and her friends in daycare. Everyday there is a new story about friends and what happened in school. She is constantly asking to go to school and never wants to leave with Mom at the end of the school day.

Emma's first day of 3 year old Pre-school!

Lucas is doing great. We have decided that he must have a hallow leg. He literally eats around 3 jars of baby food a day. He does not like the green vegetables, but we're working on that. He is very active these days. He has figured out how to roll all over the floor as well as how to do the army crawl to get to his big sisters toys.
